Behind the scenes of the making of Wheels of Time the documentary following the daily lives of the volunteers of Glenreagh Mountain Railway.

Betty Steam Engine 1919


Glenreagh Mountain Railway was established in 1989 which first big project was to restore the Steam Engine Locomotive nick name Betty 1919 back to its Glory Days.

The Wheels of Time documentary film was edited Colin Henry who has set up 1image design Production Company located on the Coffs Coast northern new south wales of Australia.

Jacaranda Films is releasing two DVDs for April 2007, general purchase on line for all you budding film buffs. The first documentary is about the Hang-gliders/Paragliders and flying Dream.

The other great film coming out for release is the Jacca Highlights which covers the the Spirit of Grafton New South Wales community who get behind the Jacaranda Festival which has been running since the year 1935. This year was the 72nd Floral Festival celebration which includes the Big Breaky and Celebration of the Hang Glider inventor John Dickenson.




On the DVD you can enjoy all those fun and entertainment highlights of the festival including coverage of the Dragon Boat races and the Big Street Parade attended by 10,000 plus crowds which includes Classic Cars and many floats in the parade.

Jacca Day Thursday where seeing is believing

Look at some the crazy moments taken here on Jacca thursday famous for bright coloured costumes, entertainment and festival markets and everything made purple bringing at the spirit of the community workers and locals dressing up for the celebration.












Check out the 2GF breakfest day giving away free food and joining in with the fun on the day. Loads of entertainment and fun took place in market square. The Big Street Parade was a great display of marching bands,classic cars,rescue vehicles, and many crazy floats on the day. Here are some photos to browse and relive those

Jacaranda Festival 2006 Highlights




Here are some photos of the crowd's attending the Jacaranda Festival for this year celebration of the day. Look at all the crazy costumes at some of the shows at downtown at market square in the Clarence Valley.


In the year 1935, Grafton first Jacaranda Festival made its debut before 4000 enthusiastics fans in brightly illuminated Jacaranda Avenue (in pound street). Children by the hundred danced and presented a floral pageant before Myrtle Gentle's name was drawn from a golden casket as the first Jacaranda princess by the Festival King, Jim Orr.


The Jacaranda Queen was Mavis Schwinghammer and they were attended by 20 maid of honour, 11pages, flower girls, jesters and princess.





Hang Gliding Celebration for John Dickenson, Rod Fuller, Pat Crowe discovery of the Dickenson Wing which took place on the Clarence River back in September 1963. The celebration lunch was attended by many high profile pilots including Dick Smith adventure explorer,enterpernur and famous for his world trip in his helicopter and microlghts.

Here below are the three men who have made it into the history books in the world of aviation flying machines there creation of the Hang Glider with the weight-shift design controls.

Dragons on the Clarence


Dragons on the Clarence Sunday 29th October 2006 was the day of the Grafton Dragon Boats Races own on the Clarence River in the town of Grafton.


31 Teams competed for the prize trophy on the day, after a fine day of paddling to victory the Yamba Team crew of the crown and glory sweat it out during the day. Some of the other teams paddling hard on the day were the ANZ team, The Woodies, Go for green The Village People just to name a few.
