Premier of the Wheels of Time DVD launch at the Glenreagh Memorial Hall was attended by over 130 approx train enthusiasts, locals and visitors on the June long weekend in 2006.
On location getting ready to shoot the action of Glenreagh Mountain Railway setting up cameras and prepping the scenes for the Wheels of Time documentary.
The story is based on Steam Engine Betty 1919 which came into service to Australia in the year 1878 and is now running as a Tourist Railway for the Glenreagh Mountain Railway. The running costs of keeping Betty on track is around $3000.00 approx every month.
